On your birthday

This is one of my all-time favorite rubber stamps, I used it so often I’m sure everyone was getting tired of it.

Today I’m playing along with The Sugar Bowl’s challenge - to use this sketch and of course a Sugar Nellie stamp.

TSB43- JUDY Buttons

The theme this week is – Buttons!

I know my card looks a little different but all I changed was the center image shape and made a rectangle rather than a square card.

My color inspiration came from the The Paper Players

I colored the image using copic and sponged just a tad bit of distress inks around the image.

I embossed the top layer with the Cuttlebug and the Shapes folder.

I tried something new – for me anyway and that is to sandwich DP between cardstock and then cut out the center panel.  I really like the effect it has.  It’s had to tell but I added foam dots to the back of the image just to elevate it a bit.

I added a few buttons to the tabs and the card was complete.

Other challenges:

Fairy Fun Friday - embossing

All Sorts - Colors of Autumn

Incy Wincy Designs – Autumn colors

Pollycraft Monday Challenge - Autumn colors

A Spoonful of Sugar - Fall in Autumn

Color Q – Use the colors Cherry Cobble, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz, Early Espresso and White

I’m really glad you stopped by!
