‘Tis the Season…

and ’tis the time to submit my card to two of my favorite challenges – Delightful Inspiration and Double Delight Challenge.  Both of these challenges are sponsored each week by Faith from Designed 2 Delight Digital Stamps.  Those that participated in last week’s challenge were given this cute digital stamp, Skating Penguin to use for this weeks challenge.  The twist from Double Delight is to encorporate snowflakes into our design.

The DP is used is from SEI, it is from their Winter Song line they released last year.  The paper is already glittery for the snowy hill, just like newly fallen snow.  I used the bottom of the DP and ran it through my printer to add the sentiment and print the digital stamp.  I then printed the digital stamp again on white cardstock and cut out just the penguin, colored it using copics, added some Stickles to the cap and then paper pieced it on to the DP – it looks like Mr Penguin has always been there doesn’t it?

I added a few snowflakes to embellish the card and just that quickly the card was completed.
