There’s a New Kid in Town

Or should I say a new digital stamp company, Digi Design House.

I’m always on the lookout for new teddy bear stamps especially now that I am a DT for Teddy Stampers.

To my delight Digi Design House had two bear stamps – you’ll just have to wait to see what the other one is or go and check out all of their awesome designs – their prices are really reasonable.

I colored Beary Sweet with copic markers.  Beary Sweet not only came with the teddy image but also a beehive, sunflower, bee background and two sentiments.  I used one of the sentiments to use as a Thank You card and colored in the open areas.  I used the small bee background to make my own designer paper – talk about coordinating paper!

The border punch is from Fiskars.  I added two layers of ribbon for some contrast and finished the card by added three small buttons.

I’m glad you were able to stop by and see my latest creations and I hope you’ll stop back again soon!  Dee

You’re the Star

Did you get a chance to see the January release of Chi Chi Memories new stamp line, Puppet Show?

We have a freebie for you too – just head on over to Chi Chi Memories blog to grab it before it’s gone.

Now that you have a CCM stamp, why don’t you play along with us for our CCM Sketch Challenge?  The winner will receive Chi Chi Memories stamps!

The sketch for this challenge is a super easy sketch:

I felt like a kid again, all of the coloring was so much fun.  I really didn’t need to worry about shading or anything as the image has built in areas to shade – love that!

I used Martha Stewart’s glitter glue on the marquee to add just a touch of sparkle to my card.  The top of the crown also has a touch of sparkle to imitate jewels.

I used the stage with one of the puppets.  I cut out the opening so the DP would show through.  The DP is from Colorbok.

The sentiment was made using my graphics program, cut out with a diecut and then adding a few dots & dashes to highlight the sentiment.

I’m glad you were able to stop by and I hope you’ll stop back again soon!  Dee

Happy New Year and welcome to our first challenge of 2011 at Aud Sentiments!

Today we are challenging you to use a sentiment (as always) but this time it can only be two words.

Robyn's Fetish Badge

Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is Robyn’s Fetish

Robyn has a huge variety of digital stamps and I encourage you to check them out here.

I’m using a digital stamp – Togetherness.

It’s not often you see puppies and kittens together but they seem to be getting along just fine.

I colored the image using copic markers.  One great thing about copics is they can be used for coloring other things besides paper.  I didn’t have a blue brad so I took a white one and colored it with a dark blue copic to coordinate with the DP for my card.

I sort of cheated when it came to adding the sentiment.  I found some “old” alphabet stickers from my scrapbooking days and added them to the card.  I don’t make New Year’s Resolutions but I told myself that this year I’m going to be better about using up my stash of supplies before buying new items.  I’m sure that resolve will last maybe a week – hence why I don’t do NY Resolutions!

I hope I’ve inspired you to join us for our challenge this week – it runs for two weeks so you have plenty of time to join in.  I can’t wait to see your creations!
