I am so ready for springtime – we had another blizzard last week that pretty much shut the entire state of North Dakota down – all major roads were closed. Luckily I didn’t have to work the next day so I enjoyed being at home while the rest of the area dug out from the 10 inches of snow plus all of the ice that we got had on the roads from the rain that turned to snow as the temps dropped.
With spring on my mind, I chose to use Milk Can Flowers digital stamp set from Digi Design House. I made a spinner card to showcare the different flowers in the collection. I printed the milk can, colored it then cut it out and attached it below the open window. I wanted to highlight four of the flowers so I wound up making a flap to cover up the exposed images on the spinner. I embossed the flap with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and I like the added interest the flap gives to the card.
I have a special message for you but you’ll have to read until the end of this post to see what it is!!!
Do you want to see the other images? We’ll here you go, Number 2 –
Number 3 –
and last but not least Number 4 –
I used a small magnet to hold the flap closed. All of the flowers are from Wild Orchid.
Just a reminder, we still have our sketch challenge going on for another week at the Digi Design House blog – we’d love it if you played along with us!
So what is my special message? We are having a Bunny Hop on April 8th – you’ll want to mark you calendars it should be lots ofr fun – I think there may even be a few prizes given away during it!!!
There will be lots of inspiration for you to help you get ready for Easter.
Until we meet again – thanks as always for stopping by. I hope I’ll see you again soon! Dee
