Happy Birthday B

It’s one of my brother’s birthday on Thursday and this is the card I made for him.  When we were kids we had a car just like this.  We had a small slab of poured cement next to our house that went down in a slope – that way we didn’t have to peddle as much.  No battery-powered engines back then!  I found this digital stamp at Digi Doodle.

I’m using the sketch from this weeks challenge at Papertake Weekly.

The DP is from My Minds Eye and SEI.

I used a scalloped border punch from Fiskars to make the strip in the middle and attached a few metal brads to complete the card.

My brother works one week on and one week off working the oil rig in The Gulf off of New Orleans.  Hopefully it’s his off week and he can enjoy his birthday doing whatever he wants to!  Happy, Happy Birthday B!!!
