Fancy Folds

Get ready for a fantastic Blog Hop with Digi Design House – we are going to inspire you to try a new style of card with our “Fancy Folds” challenge.

If you came from Christine’s blog you’re right on track – if not just start at the Digi Design House blog.

Three mystery Design Team members will be hiding a magic shovel in their fancy fold. This magic shovel will give you A Day at the Beach from Digi Design House just for commenting on their blog post. You have until 6:00PM CST on Sunday, June 12 to comment. At 6:01PM, the number of comments will be tallied, and the random number generator will do its magic to pick the winner. You don’t know which team members have the magic shovel, so make sure you comment on EACH stop in the hop. Oh yes, we are giving away THREE FREE STAMP SETS!

For my card, I’m using images from Digi Design House’s stamp set, Garden Celebration.  The month of June and a wedding card seemed to be the perfect combination.  Here is a side view just so you can get a better idea of the different folds:

I used Viva Decor’s Pearl Pen in Ice White to make the pearls on the teacakes and the wedding cake.  For the sentiment, I changed the color of the font using my graphics program prior to printing it.  Yes, the sentiment is part of the stamp set – how great is that?!!

Now it’s time to hop on over to see Michelle’s fantastic project.

Thanks for stopping by – don’t forget to leave a comment for a chance to win a digital stamp from Digi Design House!  Dee
