Christmas in July

Wow! Can you believe it’s July already?  I hope you all had a fantastic 4th!  With that said, do you realize Christmas is only 174 days away?

I told myself last year I was going to start my Christmas cards earlier than December so when I saw Digi Design House’s Blog Hop theme was Christmas in July, I was so excited – it is just the push I needed to get motivated.

If you came from Christine, you are right on track, she is one super talented crafter – I always feel like I need to step up my game when I know I’m following her!

Since this IS Christmas, we are giving away presents! Three mystery Design Team
members will be giving away a Digi Design House Christmas set of your choice
just for commenting on their blog post. You have until 6:00PM CST on Sunday,
July 10 to comment. At 6:01PM, the number of comments will be tallied, and the
random number generator will do its magic to pick the winner. You don’t know
which team members will be giving away the presents, so make sure you comment on
EACH stop in the hop. Oh yes, we are giving away THREE FREE STAMP SETS!

I’m using images from the Christmas Fun stamp set from Digi Design House. I dug out my Christmas papers from last year and found this striped paper from SEI’s Alpine Frost line. I haven’t made an easel card for awhile so I though this might be a fun thing to do for this blog hop.

I added some flat-backed pearls to the holly berries , added a few more to the base of my card.  I found a couple of holly leaf buttons from my Christmas stash from last year to adorn the sentiment.  The top border is embellished with a soft, velvety ribbon – so perfect for the Christmas holiday!

Next up is the lovely and super talented, Michelle – she won’t disappoint you, I guarantee it!

I hope you enjoyed our hop and in case in got lost or missed someone – here is the order of the hop. Don’t forget to leave a comment for a chance to win a set of stamps!  Dee
