Christmas in July

Wow! Can you believe it’s July already?  I hope you all had a fantastic 4th!  With that said, do you realize Christmas is only 174 days away?

I told myself last year I was going to start my Christmas cards earlier than December so when I saw Digi Design House’s Blog Hop theme was Christmas in July, I was so excited – it is just the push I needed to get motivated.

If you came from Christine, you are right on track, she is one super talented crafter – I always feel like I need to step up my game when I know I’m following her!

I’m using images from the Christmas Fun stamp set from Digi Design House. I dug out my Christmas papers from last year and found this striped paper from SEI’s Alpine Frost line. I haven’t made an easel card for awhile so I though this might be a fun thing to do for this blog hop.

I added some flat-backed pearls to the holly berries , added a few more to the base of my card.  I found a couple of holly leaf buttons from my Christmas stash from last year to adorn the sentiment.  The top border is embellished with a soft, velvety ribbon – so perfect for the Christmas holiday!

Next up is the lovely and super talented, Michelle – she won’t disappoint you, I guarantee it!
