Peace on Earth

Have you been watching the weather channel today? Wow!  I can’t believe the amount of snow the eastern part of the US is getting!  If there is a silver lining, it’s too early in the season and I’m sure by next weekend it will all be melted.  If you are living in that are, drive carefully and stay safe.

This color pallette from My Partner in Crafting Crime is so pretty.  Initially I wasn’t thinking of Christmas when I saw these colors but I found a sheet of DP in last years Christmas papers stash that had all of these colors.  I love double-sided papers as you know the colors are going to work beautifully together.  The DP is Snowflake Waltz from Daisy Bucket Design’s Wrapped Wishes.

I used Cheery Lynn Designs Holly Flourish – this die cut like a dream, it looks so intricate but everything popped out without a problem.  I added a few small gemstones randomly on the flourish to look like berries.

The image is a stamp from Lili of the Valley; I LOVE all of the new Christmas stamps.  I colored the image with copics and dotted on sprinkles on the stars to make them sparkle.

The sentiment is computer generated and punched using a tag punch.  A small string of bakers twine completed the tag.

I used a couple Spellbinder edgeabilites to make the border and added a velvet ribbon – velvet ribbon is so perfect for holiday cards.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’ll stop back again soon!  Dee
