Double Delight

Greetings!  I have two cards to share with you as I am so behind in making my Christmas cards this year.  I started with this fantastic sketch from My Time Made Easy and switched it up just a bit on each card.

Now that I had my sketch I needed a color palette.  I LOVE the color blue – any and all shades so the challenge at Prairy Fairy to Beat the Winter Blues was the perfect choice.  What a pretty wintery scene!

The image is a Cuddly Buddly digi stamp and the sentiment is from Raindrop Echo Designs.

The image is one of my favorite Bugaboo images and the sentiment is from Pink Petticoat.

On both of my cards I used a Christmas Cuttlebug embossing folder to create a wintery village scene.  Stickles dot the roof lines to cover them with snow.

The side borders were made using several Spellbinder edgeablilites.  I added a ribbon and topped it with another narrow ribbon and a bow.

One of my favorite things about digital sentiments is you can manipulate them to fit the space needed; it may start out as a rectangular sentiment but by resizing it, it can now be a square sentiment.

I hope you enjoy my cards and I hope you’ll stop back again soon!  Dee
