Never Too Old for Cupcake!

I couldn’t have said it better myself.

This adorable sentiment and image are stamps from LOTV.  I colored the image with copics and then dusted the wings with a touch of Stickles for some fairy-like magic.

I didn’t have to look far when looking for a sketch to use as inspiration.  I’m using the challenge from this week’s challenge at Sketch Saturday; I find these sketches just right – not to complex and not too simple.

I am in LOVE with these papers from SEI – I found them while strolling through Hobby Lobby the other day.  So much for my New Year’s resolve to use up my stash of DP, I didn’t even make it a week before caving in.  I just love the bright, summery feel of these papers; the paper line is Sunny Day – stay tuned in the coming weeks for more peeks of the other papers in this series.

I matted all of the layers with yellow cardstock to make everything pop.  A few Wild Orchid flowers were added with a touch of bling added to the center of each of the flowers. I used my go to border punch from EK Success for the border – this is one punch I’ve definitely gotten it’s money’s worth from.
