Stardust

Are you a Pinterest fan? Today’s challenge at PaperTrey Ink is use a photo on Pinterest as our inspiration.  With our first grand-daughter soon to make it’s appearance, this adorable baby girl dress caught my attention. Here’s the link to take a peek and repin it if you like it too!

I found this color challenge  at Lili Pad.

Phindy’s Place has a similar color palette but I’m using the ladybug as part of my inspiration.

I’m using this sketch from Just Us Girls as my layout inspiration.

There is inspiration everywhere, I just to take the time to look for it.  I don’t think I would have ever made a card like this if not challenged to do so.

I used PTI’s leaf green cardstock and stamped with PTI’s fresh snow ink and stamps from PTI’s Bountiful Blooms II stamp set to make the background – no DP here.

I used a Martha Stewart border punch for the border strip and topped with with PTI ribbon, love the feel of the satin ribbon.

The image is a digi stamp from Wee Stamps.   I added the sentiment to the image prior to printing it out – that’s one of the things I appreciate about digi’s, they are so versatile. I colored the image with copics and then added a few squiggles around the border.

I added a few Wild Orchid flowers and added a brad to the center, also from Wild Orchid.  The roses were cut using a MFT die and PTI felt.
