Let’s Go Fly a Kite

Yesterday it was so-o-o windy here!  We went to our grandson’s soccer game and we had a hard time standing up – gusts were up to 50 mph.  Thank goodness the temps were in the 50’s we would have been frozen by the time the match was over.  A breeze is nice but gale force winds I can do without.  Now today it is as still and calm as can be – neither day works for flying a kite but at least on my card the kite is flying nicely!

Color Inspiration: Just Us Girls I had to smile when I saw this color combination, these were the colors we used for our Prom – lets just say it was a few years ago 🙂

Sketch: One Stop Crafts

Paper: Cardstock from stash
Image: Di’s Digi Downloads
Embellishments: Ribbon, Paper flowers colored with copics, Rhinestones

I think the black works as a great accent to mat these bright colors, they pop even more if that’s possible.  As always, thanks for stopping by – see you soon!  Dee

Challenges:

Oldie but Goodie – In the Garden (everything on this card is more than 6 months old including the digi – great way to use up those scraps of cardstock!)

Clearly iStamp – Spring     Cooking it up with Katie – Make it a Green Gorgeous Garden

2 Sisters – Use a Digi     Crazy 4 Challenges – Use black cardstock (hope it’s okay-this is my second card for this challenge, I just love to mat in black!)
