A Christmas Card Recipe

One of my favorite things about the holidays is trying new recipes and baking up old family favorites.

Today we have a different type of recipe for you to try at Christmas Card Challenges.  For your project we’d like to see 4 layers, 3 ribbons, 2 Designer Papers and a Butterfly. Please keep in mind that all challenges are optional. The only real rule is that you must
create a new Christmas Holiday, Winter or Hanukkah card.

If you look closely, you’ll see I cheated a bit and added a few extra DP’s but that’s okay – as with any good recipe there is room to improvise.

Papers: Flight School – Nitwit Digi Papers

Image: Toby’s Fun in the Snow – Cuddly Buddly

Die: Butterfly and Button – PaperTrey Ink

Embellishments: Ribbon – PaperTrey Ink, Stickles, Pearl Paint.

Rather than cutting out an image and layering on a designer paper, try this – layer the image over the DP prior to printing your digi image. So much easier and it look so professional!

I hope I’ve inspired you to join us this week for our recipe challenge – I can’t wait to see what you cook up!  Dee

Challenges:

Christmas Stampin’ All Year Long – Anything Goes

Quirky Crafts – Layers and Snow

Ladybug Crafts Ink – “P”ipe

My Mum’s Craft Shop – Bold and Bright

Moving Along with the Times – Stitch it Up

Aww this is really sweet… what a cute image and love how you’ve layered it over the DP – looks fab! Gorgeous papers and embellishments and the stitching is perfect! 🙂
