I looked everywhere for my doilies and couldn’t find them anywhere – I’m sure I put them somewhere “for safe keeping”!  Since, I could find a doily, the though occurred to me to use pearls to outline the circle and I must say I rather like the effect.

  11. I love the pearls!! I’ve always wanted to do something like that when I see it done, because it’s so pretty, but I have a hard time using that many on one card–silly, I know. Kind of like it’s hard for me to cut into my favorite paper for the first time. lol! It’s a beautiful design element–great idea!!
