Have you ever had a card that kind of took on a life of its own? Well that’s what happened to me making this card. I saw this awesome sketch at Always Playing with Paper and wanted to play along. I recently purchased a die from PaperTrey Ink and I thought it was unique and it could work for the box below the oval on the sketch. WRONG!!! I struggled trying to decide on what shape to use as the shapes didn’t blend well. I tried an circle, then a star, then a square and finally decided to turn the card on it’s side and have the oval go horizontally. All in all, I like how the card turned out. I used the sketch as my inspiration even though it looks a bit different now with a few changes.
