Jam-Packed

I love homemade strawberry jam. My husband’s sister lives where strawberries are plentiful and every once in awhile we are the lucky recipients of her yummy jam!

I really like the how the bright pink and green work together – so nice and summery.  I could have added a bunch of embellishments but I wanted to follow the sketch and leave it clean and simple – I think this allows the image to be the highlight of the card.  I used one of my favorite techniques – digital masking.  I sized the circle background digi paper just a bit smaller than the diecut to give the circle-shape an instant border.  I then layered a image over the background – this allows the image to look like it’s been cut out but it hasn’t been, much cleaner lines this way.
