It’s a Two-fer

Life is an Adventure

I have two cards to share with you today.  I used this week’s sketch from Sketch Saturday.  When I looked at the layout, I noticed the angled cut of the designer paper.  I figured the only way I’d get the angles to match was to cut both papers at the same time – it worked like a charm.  Well, that left me two leftover pieces of paper so you’ll see the patterns inverted on the cards.

Gus RecountI think the stripes and dots play well off of each other – just enough of a contrast to add some interest to the cards!

Paper: Coastal – Nitwit Collections Digi Paper (Love, Love this collection – it has one of my favorite color combinations: Red, White & Blue)

Stamps: Card One: Patchwork Hot Air Balloon – Lili of the Valley, Card Two: Gus Birthday Recount – Bugaboo

Dies: Card One: Party Banner Die – Little Miss Muffet, Banner Bundle Set (sentiment) – Verve, Card Two: Wishes Come True Candles – PaperTrey Ink

Embellishments: Card One: Baker’s Twine, Button and Stickles, Card Two: Ribbon, Candi Dots and Pearls

Sketch: Sketch Saturday

Thanks for the visit!  Dee
