Winter Rudi

RudiHello!¬† I actually had some time to play today in my craft room and here is my second holiday card I made today. I opted to use my favorite holiday color combination – aqua and red. I love the softer look of the aqua instead of emerald green. Just a quick post as I really do need to get a few thing done around the house, it’s just so easy to play instead of do housework ūüôā

For You

FY2I was intrigued by The Friday Mashup Challenge to use ombre.¬† I can’t say I’ve ever tried this technique.¬† I was trying to decide on which colors to use when I saw the color challenge at Sketchy Colors to use Orange and Pink.¬† I pulled out my copics and airbrushed an ombre background blending colors from each end until I met in the middle and blended the two colors together – easy, peasy and so much fun!

Pretty in Pink

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and a pink ribbon is used as a symbol to raise that awareness.¬† I’m trying something a bit different – I made two cards with the positive and negative patterns using pink as my inspiration color.¬† I stayed with a monochromatic color palette and I like how the two cards turned out.¬† There are a few differences – can you find them?

Perk Up

What a gorgeous Sunday morning!  I sat out on our porch this morning with my cup of coffee and listened to the birds chirp Рso peaceful!

With coffee cup in hand, I decided to use one of my newer DigiStamp Boutique images.  I must be on a kick to make backgrounds using strips of patterned paper.  This one is a bit busy, it kind of reminds me of a quilt block.

Hippity, Hoppity!

One more Easter card to share with you.¬† I have so many more images I’d like to color and make into cards but I have a feeling Easter will be here before I know it.¬† Since I couldn’t decide which of these three images to use, I decided to combine them all to make an Easter scene.
