Christmas through the eyes of a child

It’s Oldie but Goodie Thursday at Bugaboo Stamps.

I love my Bugaboo digital stamps and this gives me the chance to use a few that I haven’t used in awhile.

I used images from two different sets; Santa and Reindeer are from the Christmas Bobbleheads and the boy and girl are from the Toppers series.

I can’t take any credit for the window concept as I CASE’d this card from Scrap-a-licious-times.

I added the window shutters by using a digital stamp from Birds Cards as the backdrop for the window.

I colored the images using copic markers and added white applique paint and puffed it for the snow on the window panes.  I also added Stickles to Santa’s brim and pompom.

I learned one thing about the applique paint – it will repuff by adding heat to it again.

I also learned the metal snowflakes will melt when heat is applied 🙂 OOPS!

All is good as I was able to easily replace the melted snowflake.

Thanks for stopping and if I don’t see you for the next couple of days –

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Dee

  2. Hi there

I am thrilled you have joined in my “Free and Easy” theme at Allsorts this fortnight and confess to being astounded by the huge response – over 500 so far !

I usually like to visit every entry and say a few words about their creations, but the sheer volume so far along with the holiday preparations we all have to juggle means this is a “copied and pasted” message, for which I apologise.

Wishing you a very Happy New Year.

Have you entered my new candy
