Ladybug Bloom

It’s a great day – the sun is trying to shine!  It has been so dreary here these past couple of weeks.  The temps are supposed to warm a bit today and tomorrow and then another winter storm is heading our way.  When or when will springtime makes its appearance.  Well, if I can’t have springtime outside, I can bring a little indoors and this cheerful card is just perfect for this.

I’m using this week’s freebie from Designed 2 Delight.  My daughter collects ladybugs and I can see why, for a bug they are pretty cute!

Not a whole lot of extras on this card.  The frame was made by using a Martha Stewart corner and border punch set and the butterfly was cut out using a Papertrey Ink butterfly die using fels.  I added a few rhinestones to the body of the butterfly  and attached a ribbon to tie in the green stem of the flower.

I’m glad you stopped by – I hope you’ll stop back again, soon!  Dee

Other Challenges:
