It’s time for the big August reveal of Clearly Digi Stamps images. Let me start out by saying there is something for everyone. As you’ll see by my two cards there is some something for the gals and something for the guys.
You know what they say about editing – well…. I think I redid this card at least three times. I kept taking elements off – it was wa-a-a-ay to busy before. One of the things I appreciate the most about digi stamps is the ability to make the stamp the size I need it to be – no such luxury with rubber stamps. I’m using a butterfly from the Butterfly and Flowers set. I was able to make the butter fly in various sizes – it’s the same image just resized. I used copics to color the butterfly and because the color was a little flat, I brushed a light coat of glossy accents over the image after cutting them out.
I found in my stash of forgotten embellishemnts a BasicGrey rubon on with rhinestones to add to show the butterflies flight. I did a search for butterfly sentiments and found this one on the web and made it into a digi sentiment . Feel free to use it if you like it – I couldn’t find an author of the saying to give them the credit they deserve for such a lovely saying. Note: I apologize to those who tried to download the png file for the sentiment. For whatever reason – I just can’t get it to work. I linked the jpg file for those of you that don’t mind the white background.
Now something for the guys – or for those of you that are sport nuts like me is a set aptly named Football. I used the digi papers in the set along with the football jersey. Now if I were a Packer fan, I could have just left the jersey white and added a few touches of green to it and it would have looked great but…. I am a HUGE Minnesota Viking fan and I just think I could color that up so I grabbed my purple markers and colored the jersey as it should be 🙂 in purple and gold! I even found a couple of football brads that have just been waiting to be used since I bought them over a year ago.
Well now that you’ve gotten a hint for some of the new images, please check out the Clearly iStamp’s Blog for much more inspiration from the rest of the Design Team.
Thanks so much for the visit! Dee
