Fun in the Sun

It’s Summertime and that’s our challenge for you this week at Digi Design House.

I’m giving you a preview of the newly released Fun in the Sun a stamp set by Digi Design House.  I used three of the images to make the scene and a sentiment from the set.  One of the great things about digital stamps is how easily they can be combined; no need to stamp an image, cut it out and use it as a mask and then stamp again as one needs to do with traditional rubber stamps.  I used a couple of different mediums to color these stamps.  I used Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for the water and then added a few swipes of blue and white Prismacolor pencil and OMS followed by a smidge of copics to fill in the gaps.

I colored the images using copics.  I chose one of the fish to add to the sentiment and added a few PTI diecut clouds.  I had a great time coloring these images – so much fun to use bright, summerly colors.
