H A P P Y  H A L L O W E E N

The Trick and Treaters have come and gone for another year.  We had only a few visitors this year.  As the day progressed the temps started to drop and the wind started to howl – I’m sure the little ones didn’t last too long!

Thought I’d share the treats package I made for the grandsons – Little Abi will have to wait until next year to get in on the yummies!  I filled these containers with miniature candy bars – I have a feeling mom and dad may just confiscate a few of these.  Along with these treats, I made caramel popcorn balls to give out at treats!

Week #48

I’m in love with these springs from Action Wobbles – you can’t tell from the photo but not only do they pop-up your image; the image wobbles back and forth giving movement to the card.  I’m having so much fun playing with this card, it actually looks like the snowball is rolling down the hill when it is moving!!!

Designed 2 Delight’s October Hop

Thanks so much for blog hoppin’ with D2D! Remember, all New Release Digital Stamps will be on SALE until October 23. Details HERE.

The first card I’d like to share with you, I tried a new technique.  I chose a digi paper and then layered on the D2D digi stamp Hoppy Christmas using the wf format of the image.  If you aren’t familiar with a wf image, it is the best of a png and a jpeg image – what can be colored is white and can be layered on to a digi paper and printed all at one time.  If you were to try to use the jpeg image, you’d have the white box around the image and if you used the png image the background print would show through – LOVE that Faith’s D2D images have the wf option for use!

Merry and Bright!

I just finished my cards for Saturday’s Designed to Delight October Blog Hop – I hope you’ll be able to join us.  I’ve gotten a sneak peek from the rest of the D2D Design Team and as always the amount of creativity is amazing.

What are you thankful for?  Today I’m thankful that it is warm enough that it has been raining all day rather than snowing!  It’s that time of year here in North Dakota that we could easily be having a snowstorm or it could be freezing rain – I’m not sure which is worse.

As I sit in my craftroom looking outside at the blustery, windy, rainy day it certainly makes me realize I need to keep on making my Christmas cards – in just a couple of months the holidays will be on us in full swing.

Thinking of You at Christmas

Happy Sunday to You!  Wherever you may be, I hope you have a wonderful, relaxing day.  Yesterday my hubby and I decided we needed to do some “Spring” cleaning – I know it’s fall but our house needed a good once over.  We made a pretty good dent in getting the house spruced up but then a couple of the grandkids came over and let’s just say – it doesn’t pay to clean with little ones under foot 🙂

So today we will finish a few things and then watch the Vikings game – here’s hoping for another W but I have a feeling it is going to be a tough game to watch.  Maybe I’ll have time to play a bit in my craft room too!
